Derrick Jackson is licensed Pennsylvania Real estate broker. He received his Pennsylvania real estate Incense in 1999 and has practiced full time since that time. He has obtained various certifications including Construction Management from Temple University, Default and Mortgage Foreclosure Specialist, and Certified Manager of Community Associations. Derrick Jackson is a second generation real estate broker.
One of real estate brokerages which he has managed was established in 1954 and has had up to 40 agents and staff. This real estate company has managed thousands of rental properties for various owners such as the City of Philadelphia and HUD. Home Real Estate also has contracts to manage community associations . The company has managed more than 350 cooperative and condominium units.
In 2005, Derrick Jackson started Professional Real Estate Solutions(PRES) , a Professional consulting firm. PRES specializes in real estate development and business development. PRES has consulted many clients on real estate projects and is currently working with startup companies to help them build their businesses.
In the spirit of leadership, Derrick Jackson has achieved the office of President in different organizations. In the community, He served as the President of the Susquehanna Business Association. This is an organization made up of business owners and managers on the Susquehanna Avenue business corridor. He served as the President of the Philadelphia Metropolitan Board of Realtist from 2010 – 2012, which is the local chapter of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers. He was next elected to serve as Regional Vice President of NAREB Region III which covers PA, DE and WV. He then served as Treasurer of NAREB’s National Board of Directors.
Some of his other activities included hosting a Real Estate radio talk show, where he discussed current real estate topics. Derrick Jackson serves as a Past Master of Hiram Lodge #5 of The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of PA. He also works with local nonprofits to assist with counseling homeowners that are facing foreclosure.
